Rainy season!!!!

The rains are here! One of the best time of the year! Personally for me, I guess rains have brought more than just a respite from the scortching heat. Well, the fact that all around me the nature seems to be draped in a green saree, the colors of flowers intermingled with the green are such a beautiful sight. Looks like a painting drawn from the depths of heaven transcending the thoughts and sight of us mortals, giving us a glimpse of the beauty of the great unknown. The feel of nature's breathe through my hair, the tickle of rain droplets on my cheeks makes me realise the benevolence of the great almighty. The wet soil under my feet , a mattress so soft almost makes me wish I could sleep there :) When I look outside my window, it seems the world is better, problems stop to exist and a feeling that all is well comes to my heart. The melody of the pitter patter of the rain on the window panes reverbrates all around me and all the the negative vibes go away, life becomes purer and closer to the great power. And I am not the only one mesmerized by this eternal gift of mother nature, with me are the birds, the butterflies and most of the inhabitants of our world. Why else do you think the peacocks would dance and birds would sing in this enchanting weather. Why else would people just sit and stare outside the window. Why else would rains keep inspiring poets since time unknown. This is how everyone enjoys this amazing time of the year, drowning all their sorrows and rejuvenating themselves.
But when I see it raining, memories come back, the sweet memories of sitting in the veranda having awesome pakodas with my family, memories of playing in the rain with friends, of dancing at night in kota, of rainy day holiday in school and many more. Some light up my face with smile thinking of the good old days and I am sucked up in the vortex of the emotions and memories.
Well, so many thoughts in my mind which I want to write down but I guess I should get back to work now :( but I will close this post by writing a very cliché line which I used to write in all my rainy day essays in school :P “ if the spring is the king of seasons is rainy season not the queen?” !!!! :P :P
Happy rainy season to all and enjoy it!!!
