Rainy season!!!!

The rains are here! One of the best time of the year! Personally for me, I guess rains have brought more than just a respite from the scortching heat. Well, the fact that all around me the nature seems to be draped in a green saree, the colors of flowers intermingled with the green are such a beautiful sight. Looks like a painting drawn from the depths of heaven transcending the thoughts and sight of us mortals, giving us a glimpse of the beauty of the great unknown. The feel of nature's breathe through my hair, the tickle of rain droplets on my cheeks makes me realise the benevolence of the great almighty. The wet soil under my feet , a mattress so soft almost makes me wish I could sleep there :) When I look outside my window, it seems the world is better, problems stop to exist and a feeling that all is well comes to my heart. The melody of the pitter patter of the rain on the window panes reverbrates all around me and all the the negative vibes go away, life becomes purer and closer to the great power. And I am not the only one mesmerized by this eternal gift of mother nature, with me are the birds, the butterflies and most of the inhabitants of our world. Why else do you think the peacocks would dance and birds would sing in this enchanting weather. Why else would people just sit and stare outside the window. Why else would rains keep inspiring poets since time unknown. This is how everyone enjoys this amazing time of the year, drowning all their sorrows and rejuvenating themselves.
But when I see it raining, memories come back, the sweet memories of sitting in the veranda having awesome pakodas with my family, memories of playing in the rain with friends, of dancing at night in kota, of rainy day holiday in school and many more. Some light up my face with smile thinking of the good old days and I am sucked up in the vortex of the emotions and memories.
Well, so many thoughts in my mind which I want to write down but I guess I should get back to work now :( but I will close this post by writing a very cliché line which I used to write in all my rainy day essays in school :P “ if the spring is the king of seasons is rainy season not the queen?” !!!! :P :P
Happy rainy season to all and enjoy it!!!

Mumbai Darshar Part : 2

I am back with another account of my mumbai stay!!! Finally, mom allowed me to go and explore mumbai on my own :D , so off I went exploring mumbai ( and ofcourse my limit of stupidness :P ). Like all experienced people I had seen, I started off with asking the local people about the bus stand and bus number. And on sunday, my friend and me started our journey. Went to the bus stand, twice got on the wrong bus :P , got down at the next stop, waited for an hour for the correct bus to arrive (all the time asking myself “why am I doing this???” :P :P) , got into a very very crowded bus but still managed to get a seat!!! Thank god we got down at the right stop :D. Bandra. Had heard a lot about shoppping there ( and ofcourse the bargaining :P). The first view: damn, so many shops!!! where do I start?? so my friend started off and I just kept staring at the goods being sold, never have I seen so many varieties in one street. Later even I shopped :D and it was fun!!! So in bandra, we went to hill road and link road. Wanted to go to bandstand too but sadly coudn't go :( . And on the return journey, we didn't make any mistake!!! and came back safely ( to my mom's relief :P )
So this was about my weekend, but the fun doesn't stop here!!!
On monday after office, yawen and me went trekking on a hill !!! Didn't think that it was getting dark and raining hard :P . The board at the foot of the hill which stated “Entry restricted from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Panther is being frequently sighted” also coudn't stop the flow of adrenaline in our bodies :P :P , though we did apply insect repellant cream in hope to scare the panther away :P :P. Off we went. Never have I been so reckless and casual about my safety. But you know what? I totally loved it!!! Climbing up the slopes, all we could do was mutter words which I cannot type here ;) but the view , awesome!!! The whole powai region, the lakes, the hills everything looked just perfect. I wish I was a poet, could have described the beauty better but WoW!!! We kept walking, not knowing where we were going, but somehow we ended up at hostel 1 :D . After so much physical exertion, all that was on our minds was food :( , so started our search for it. Well, did not have to wait long :D had maggi!! and then we took an auto as our legs were totally not in our control :P :P . Showed Yawen a bollywood movie with eng subtitles, which she liked :) except the song and dance routine :P :P and finally went to sleep with a bit of fever and stomach ache (aftermath of a physical exertion, I should not have made :P :P) .
P.S do pray that I come back safe and sound (seems unlikely with my stupid acts :P :P )
