Officially the second year has started. Now we are seniors!!! So excited we all were but I guess over excited would better describe my predicament at the moment. Buried under assignment and presentation, little time we have to enjoy the new phase in college. Couple it with the stupid rules slapped by the college on us, we are in a pretty bad situation. Power cuts, movement slips and no late night campus walking have taken out all the fun of our lives. Well with the changing environment , I am found at the most unlikely places, library, lab!!! Don't look surprised by seeing me at places, which I used to avoid, afterall Vanya and studies don't look good together. But it is the ac there which attracts me :P , no fan in rooms and the horrible weather here don't leave me with much choice. Well, all is not as bad as it sounds, the new Bikarnerwala canteen is a relief! And then life with friends, I guess, more than compensates for the torture. Spending long hours of night on the terrace under the star lit night and wind blowing on our faces and beautiful songs from Shilpa's phone do make life so much more enjoyable. And then the little angel in our lives, Pixie, what a refreshing change. The love which we got from him did make life so much more beautiful. His chi chi disturbed others but to us, it was pure bliss. We found him as a scared 5 day old with the guard and now he is a healthy 35 day old pigeon. Though personally I could not give him time but I do miss his prescence in the room now that he has gone. The joy I got to see him fly for the first time is inexpressible in words....such a beautiful feeling. Even today it feels as if it was just yesterday that we brought him. Thanx to Khushboo who had the courage to take up the responsibility and to Shalini for taking care of him later on :) :)
So , overall, the new semester may be boring by traditional standards, we certainly have other ways to enjoy ;)
